What can Dr. Byers and Dr. Pitsinger do for your athlete?
Dr. Byers and Dr. Pitsinger have received training in a national sports biomechanics program. The Doctor begins with a comprehensive standard biomechanical physical exam, standing neck and low back x-rays, and a digital foot scan. Prior athletic injuries, sleeping patterns, and other activities of daily living help the doctor create a distinctive treatment plan that heals athletes quicker. The doctors have training from Dr. Tim Maggs, former chiropractor for the NFL New York Giants. Dr. Tim Maggs has also worked with Bill Rodgers, 4 time winner of the
Dr. Byers & Dr. Pitsinger helps athletes:

Who can participate?
All junior and senior high athletes are encouraged to receive a biomechanical evaluation. College athletes are welcome. Adult runners and competitive athletes have found the program to decrease "aches and pains" as well as prevent further injuries.
How long is the program?
Much like braces for orthodontics, biomechanical changes take some time. Depending upon the results found in the initial exam, the treatment plan is formed. Typical treatment plans range from 3-6 months depending upon the findings.
